A cold and bitter heart does not make one happy
It is like an iceberg that never melts or warms
Always there to make you sad at the world
And others that care and try to understand

The tongue cuts like a razor and bites as well
It answers before another can say what's on their mind
Like a hard fast wind it is beating at you always
And it seems like the tide will always be high

Cold is not the way life should be lived or enjoyed
You never have roses or good times in the cold
There has to be some warmth and love in the heart
Without it there is nothing left but darkness

This could go on forever to try to find a end
You only get out of life the love you put into it
The love of living and loving
For we know never when it ends
