A WHISPER AWAY

Oh, the joy and peace,
I have each day.
Talking to my Father,
Just a whisper away.

Where, He assures His love,
Which comforts my soul.
And gives to me promises,
That are mine to hold.

He lifts me, gently,
To a higher plateau.
To a level where troubles,
Of this world, can’t go.

So, when the enemy draws near,
I flee to this place.
Where the Father and I,
Can stand, as face to face.

And He’s always there,
Whether it’s night or day.
Just waiting to talk,
At only, a whisper away.

ALL I CAN DO IS ASK

I created you for My pleasure,
That you and I, might have companionship.
I provided for you, beyond measure,
Even gave you, your own relationship.

I created the heavens and the earth,
And all of those things therein.
But, none of that has any worth,
If you and I, are not friends.

I could sigh, and the stars would fall,

The sun and moon, I could flick away.
Or, freeze the sun, like a snowball,
Or, with moonlight, burn deserts into clay.

Planets, I can rearrange in the universe,
Subtract from, or add twice as many.
Those that are last, I can put first,
Or, if I want, not have any.

With a single seed, of an apple core,
I could fill, all the seas up.
Or, take all the sand, from the sea’s shores,
And put it all, into a single teacup.

I could command the rocks and trees,
To worship Me, and they would obey.
I could have all the mountains and valleys,
To rule over, the night and day.

And all of the continents in the world,
I can pull together, just for fun.
And every man, woman, boy and girl,
With one breath, put back into one.

I can move time back, or ahead,
Or, if I choose, cause time to stand still.
I can put life, back into the dead,
And all the sick and lame, I can heal.

But, one thing, I have already done,
I took My life, from My own side.
And dwelt with men, as My son,
Who, lives as the Father, though He died.

But, in all of these things, I can do,
There’s one thing, that makes Me grieve.
Because of choice, it is only you,
That can take your love, from Me.

I have loved you, from the very start,
And by My Word, I have told you so.
But, if you leave, you will break My heart,
And, all I can do, is ask, please, don’t go.

THE DEED

When I met the Master of my soul,
He fulfilled my every need.
He repaired this house and made it whole,
Now only He holds the deed.

And when I see Him at heaven’s door,
To which He has guaranteed.
He’ll invite me, into His home forever more,
To which only He, holds the deed.

And in His gardens, a beauty to behold,
I will dwell, with every race and creed.
Praising God, from streets of gold,
For being the One, Who holds the deed.

But, in the landscape of heaven’s terrain,
Which has no corruption nor weed.
There is a mansion that bears my name,
And by God’s grace, only I, hold the deed.

JUST INSIDE OF HEAVEN’S GATE

I can’t wait until I get to heaven,
Oh, all of the sights, I’ll see.
But, there’s something special, God’s been saving,
That I’ll have forever, through eternity.

Oh, I’ll love the mountains high,
And all of the valleys, far below.
And, all of the rainbows, that fill the sky,
But, there’s much more waiting, for me I know.

There’ll be rivers of life, flowing through the land,
Meadows, filled with flowers, as far as you can see.
And, fruit filled trees, for all of man,
Which feed the souls, with love and harmony.

Oh, yes, there’ll be a mansion, that bears my name,
With a view, that stretches far and wide.
Where you can see everything, in heaven’s terrain,
For God has nothing, in His heaven to hide.

And as great, as all these things will be,
There’s something there, that means so much more.
That special something, that waits for me,
That I too, in anticipation, am waiting for.

Yes, Jesus, how can He not be, my top priority?
To see Him, my heart can hardly wait.
But, besides Jesus, my eyes are longing to see,
All of my family, waiting, just inside of heaven’s gate.

RAINBOWS IN THE SKY

I traveled in a dream-like state,
To where? I was not really sure.
For this place, had no time nor date,
Showing, if it was past, present or future.

I saw no tunnel, nor bright light,
Nor was I forced, against my will.
But, I did see, a magnificent sight,
Not as a dream, but very real.

It was a new world, of mountains and streams,
And rivers, that run to mighty oceans.
A wonder, that no man could ever dream,
For only, Living Water through the soul, gives it motion.

There were waterfalls, filling valley’s, below,
Flooding lost souls, of hardened ground.
Creating life, that only the spirit knows,
And delivering them, from the curse they were bound.

And like many rainbows, in the sky,
They too, would soon take their place.
With those, already here, never to die,
In all the colors, of the human race.

And there were many mansions, set on high,
Not like houses, as you might think of some.
But, each, a domain, silhouetted, against the sky,
Interlocked together, making heaven, lit by the Son.

And every rock, tree, plant and flower,
Lived, by what this world was made of.
With each, giving fragrance, of that same power,
Not that of oxygen, but that, of eternal love.

And nothing survived, by any other name,
For this world was Holy and pure.
Made possible by Hope, the One and the same,
Who is the Trinity, who forever, endures.

And another thing, that’s hard to understand,
I knew the names, of all I met.
But, an angel held me back, with his hand,
From touching them, for I, wasn’t there, yet.

Then, a mighty gate, made from a single pearl,
Opened, to a narrow path through space.
For me to return, to the earthly world,
To tell others, about this glorious place.

But, how many, will believe my story?
That I really did see, all these things?
That I, spent time, in a place of Glory?
Or, will they think of it, as only a dream?

I only know, now, one thing for sure,
Something, that I did not know, before.
That I was in the past, present and future,
And the only way there, is through Jesus, our Door.

But, for those, who do not believe,
The next time you see, the rainfall come.
Look to the sky, and see, if you can see,
A rainbow of souls, of Living Water, by the Son.

GOD’S GREATEST WORK OF ART

As the stars in heaven magnify their beauty,
With the moon like a pearl upon its chain.
Gives an awesome grace that is truly,
A shining example to Your Holy Name.

For with its silver chain of radiant pearl,
Draped around earth’s body, adorned, with many wonders.
You proudly display its light to the world,
To see Your Majesty, You’ve placed it, under.

And the earth, dressed, in its glorious attire,
With mountains, valleys, deserts and seas.
Wearing its golden broach of heavenly fire,
Raining sunbeams of warmth, through forest’s, leaves.

Then, Your master touch, the creation of man,
Whom, You gave authority, over, all.
Yet, to be the feet, for Your purpose and plan,
Carrying Your message, to all, who are called.

Gives a shimmering glance of Your created, treasure,
Yet, Fails in comparison, to Your greatest work of art.
Which, You, placed upon a hill, beyond loves measure,
A cross, holding Your son, nailed, with Your heart.
